We encourage all of our students to get started as early as possible on their career success journey by coming in to meet with our full-time staff or our Career Peers!

Set up an appointment through Handshake to learn more about co-ops and internships and develop a strategy for searching and applying. We’re happy to talk to you about how to navigate the co-op process and explain how gaining co-op experience will round out your resume and your education.
Don’t hesitate to make an appointment if you need help once you have received co-op or internship offers! And please don’t turn an offer down before you talk with one of our staff members.

While our two full-time team members do not have the ability to accept drop-ins (because they are busy accepting your Handshake appointment requests), our Career Peers DO take drop-ins! You can stop in any time during the Career Peers’ office hours to begin building a resume, to have your resume reviewed, to learn how to write a cover letter, to get help with your job search, and for beginner interview prep!

Whether you are preparing for an internship/co-op interview or an interview for a full-time job, we can help! Plan to spend 60 minutes with a team member to learn about the kinds of questions you can expect, how to answer them, and how to prepare for future interviews.

Sit down with one of our staff members to learn more about the most effective ways to go about your job search.

Your resume is one of the single most important marketing pieces you will have while searching for co-ops, internships, and full-time jobs. There are definitely “rights” and “wrongs” when drafting your first resume or editing an existing resume. The same can be said for your cover letters!
We want to help you get it right, so make an appointment to receive feedback and suggestions to put together the strongest resume or cover letter possible!

If you’ve received a full-time offer or full-time offers, you don’t have to navigate that process alone. Make an appointment to sit down with one of our staff members to go over your offer(s). Evaluating an offer involves understanding it fully and learning about the benefits and other elements included in the offer. Additionally, we will review the salary offered and compare it with our data to provide guidance on the negotiation process (when necessary).
Please don’t ever accept an offer on the spot! Take time to consider the offer even if it is a dream position.
