Global Business Development – Atlanta, GA

This job will be located in our Atlanta, GA Sales office.

The Global Business Development role exists to provide internal, field-based project management for our sales related activities. This role will give the candidate first hand exposure to cutting edge emerging technologies, automation, and industries which will define the future of American manufacturing. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, sales aptitude, business development mindset, and a desire to meet customers where they are. To help guide our customers through the sales process excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills are required to fulfill the role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide project and application development support for customers and salespeople
  • Customers are Korean accounts, therefore the main role is to bridge the communication between the customer and KEYENCE. Examples include
  • Korean contact who works in Korean USA companies
  • American contact which works in Korean USA companies
  • Korean machine builders who work in Korean USA companies
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, requests, and complaints as well as actions taken
  • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in adapting to KEYENCE’s expectations and the challenges customers present to you
  • Understand and observe company / department policies and procedures
  • Other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0-5 years Sales experience
  • Business Professional Korean speaker
  • Goal-oriented and extremely hard working
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including the possibility of overnight travel
  • Ability to lift and carry 35~85 lbs. of demonstration equipment in and out of vehicles
  • Must have a valid driver’s license at all times
