Sales Engineering and Application Engineering Graduate Development Program
We’re seeking motivated engineering graduates to join our next cohort and train as either Sales Engineers or Application Engineers.
Sales Engineers work directly with customers to solve the technical challenges involved in designing and building advanced products. Application Engineers support the sales team before and after purchase, ensuring customers get the right solutions and successful outcomes.
This is a full‑time, paid position where you’ll learn our products and technology, shadow real customer interactions, and take part in hands‑on training across key locations in the US. You’ll receive mentorship, build customer-facing skills, and gain practical experience working with the team. At the end of the program, you’ll move into the Sales Engineer or Application Engineer role you were hired for.

- Calgary, AB Canada
- Chicago, IL
- Cincinnati, OH
- Dallas, TX (Solutions Design /Systems Architect)
- Toronto, ON Canada
- Washington DC/Northern VA (Field, and C-UAS roles available)
Your Qualifications:
- Graduating before July 2026 with an engineering degree. Electrical or Computer Engineering most closely aligns with our business, but we happily accept any engineering degree
- GPA greater than 3.0
- Clear communicator who can explain complex concepts to both non‑technical and technical audiences
- Customer‑focused and motivated to engage with customers to help achieve their objectives
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Enjoys working on a team
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
- US citizenship required for US roles and Canadian Citizenship required for Canadian roles
Your Tasks:
- Actively participate in training and field engagements, bringing curiosity and enthusiasm
- Quickly become proficient with Rohde & Schwarz products and technologies
- Drive your own development as it relates to the applications and products that matter most in your geography
Compensation:
Pay is a range based on location with most locations being $92,400 but depending on geographic location the range goes to $110,880. Besides competitive pay we offer 401K with match, health/dental/vision insurance, and paid time off.
