>> Hi, My name is Aaron Gotwalt. I am co-founder and CTO of Orphid, which is a new stealth technology company based in San Francisco. We'll be launching later this year, Orphid is a company that's interested in improving the mobile experience. It's working on problems that everybody faces. And it's using some very high power, big data, and machine learning too helpfully overcome these problems. Honestly, right now my -- most of my day is hiring people. And hiring is -- it's not a -- there's no science to it, I don't think. I think it's more art. It's, you know, there are practical things that you do every day in terms of, you know, reaching out and trying to discover candidates and working with recruiters. But a lot of it is sort of feeling out the specific interests of people and whether they align. I think at an early stage company, there are plenty of great people, plenty of very smart people out there. And it's about hiring the right people at the right time for the right role. And so you're forced to choose between people who are fully qualified for any position you could want, but you have to pick the one that sort of fits the needs and the state of the organization today. And then you sort of in the back of your head, you think, well, I want to leave the people that we don't hire with sort of a taste for what we're doing so that at that point where we may want to hire them in the future that they want to come back. That they're still excited about what we're doing.
